Text documents that contain HTML markup are processed using special applications that display the file in its formatted form. Such applications are called internet browsers or browsers. They provide a user-friendly interface for web browsing. The most popular browsers are Mozilla, Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer.
Necessary
Personal computer, browser, Nvu program
Instructions
Step 1
Creation of HTML-document should be carried out in HTML-editor "Nvu". The advantages of this editor are simplicity and ease of use. You can download this program on the Internet, as it is distributed free of charge. Next, install the utility. Try to install in the directory of the local drive "C". Run the program where the initial minimal code is generated automatically. The open document contains only ancillary information, so add the necessary text using the free space between the "body" and "/ body" tags. These are standard tags that are found in almost every hypertext markup document.
Step 2
Then save the file to a specific location for viewing in a browser. You can also use the function "preview of the result" that the program has, and evaluate the result. On the toolbar, click the "Save" button or the "+" key combination. In the window that appears, you must enter the name of the page. It will be reflected in the title of the browser window. Then specify the location to save the file, and set its name, which must match the title. When creating an HTML document, it is important to use only Latin characters and no spaces in file names.
Step 3
There are two ways to see the result in a browser. Go to the folder with the saved file and open it. In this case, a browser will open, where the document will be loaded automatically. The second way is to load the browser yourself and select "File" - "Open" in the menu item, specifying the path to the file. Creating an HTML document is a simple process that requires care and perseverance.
