Instructions
Step 1
After purchasing a Nec monitor, be sure to remove the protective film from the screen, as it will distort the image. In order to protect the screen from external mechanical influences, use films specially designed for this, which are absolutely transparent, therefore they do not spoil the vision with a distorted picture on the screen.
Step 2
Connect the monitor to a power source using a power cord, and also connect its VGA or DVI inputs to the output of your computer's video card. If your monitor is using an analog signal, use a regular blue or less commonly found black VGA cable. If the monitor supports a digital signal, connect it to the DVI connector of the video card using a cable with white plugs. Screw them in such a way that they do not fall out of the connectors.
Step 3
Adjust the tilt of the monitor after turning it on. Some models of Nec monitors have a feature in the form of adjusting the tilt and rotation of the screen by 180 and 90 degrees, here you will need to install additional software supplied with the sales package on disc. Adjust the tilt of the monitor depending on the type of sensor, since the viewing angle affects the visibility.
Step 4
After installing the Nec monitor driver, reboot the operating system and adjust the brightness and contrast settings depending on whether you will often work with graphic editors, text, watching movies, playing computer games, and so on.
Step 5
It is best for too dark rooms not to set the display backlight too bright, and conversely, in bright light, do not darken the monitor screen. Don't set too high a resolution if icons and fonts seem small to you.
