If reconnecting the power cable did not save the situation, then you need to change it. You can remove the cable for testing from another monitor. Sometimes several monitors can be connected to one video card. If their number is more than supported by the video card, the image may disappear. Sometimes this is interpreted as a malfunction of the monitor, so it is worthwhile to exclude overloading the video card.

In order for the device to work for a long time and reliably, it must be regularly cleaned of dust and dirt, to avoid sudden temperature changes and excessive humidity of the environment in which it has to work. The monitor should be cleaned with a dry cloth, and the screen should be wiped with special damp antistatic wipes. The latter is especially true for liquid crystal monitors, the operation of which greatly affects the user's vision.
