Instructions

Step 1

In order for the Mozilla browser to remember passwords, you must configure the appropriate settings. Start the browser in the usual way. In the top menu bar, select the "Tools" item and the "Settings" sub-item.

Step 2

A new dialog box will open. Go to the tab "Protection" in it. In the "Passwords" group, set the token in the "Remember passwords for sites" field. Apply the settings with the OK button. Now, when you enter your username and password on any resource in the browser window, you will be prompted to save the password.

Step 3

To view the password that Firefox remembered, open the settings window from the Tools menu again and open the Security tab. Click on the "Saved Passwords" button in the "Passwords" group. An additional window will open with a list of all Internet resources for which the browser has memorized the password.

Step 4

On the left side of the window is the site address, on the right - the login used for authorization. Click on the "Show passwords" button in the lower right part of the window. Confirm your actions in the request window. The data in the window will change its appearance. One more column "Password" will be added to the right.

Step 5

After viewing the necessary information, click on the "Hide passwords" button, the window will return to its previous form. To remove a password for a specific resource from the list, select the corresponding line with the left mouse button and click the "Remove" button. Be careful, this operation does not require confirmation.

Step 6

If you want to clear the entire list of resources for which Firefox has saved a password, click the Delete All button. If you cannot find the resource you are interested in, use the "Search" field at the top of the window. It is not necessary to enter the full address in it. A few letters are enough to find matches.

Step 7

Pay attention to the "Exclusions" button in the settings window on the "Protection" tab. If you add the website address to the exceptions, the passwords for it will not be remembered, and the save request will not appear either.
