A clan is a grouping of players in online multiplayer games such as Lineage II. Each clan has its own unique attributes: name, leader, coat of arms, and so on. The clan gets the ability to install the emblem in L2 after it reaches level 3.

Step 1
Select the image you want to use as the clan crest in Lineage II. The picture must meet the following requirements: the image format must be *.bmp, the size must be 16 by 12 pixels, it must contain 256 colors. Draw the logo yourself, for example, in the graphics editor MS Paint or Adobe Photoshop.
Step 2
Or use ready-made images posted on the Internet. For example, follow the link https://l2db.ru/emblems/clans/, select the picture you like, right-click on it, select the "Save Image As" command. Use one or two characters as the file name, save the file to the root folder of the disk for the convenience of subsequent installation of the clan coat of arms.
Step 3
Connect to the Internet, launch the Lineage II game client to put the clan's coat of arms. Make sure your clan has reached the third level to be able to install the clan coat of arms. If you have a version of the game c1 - c4 chronicles, then go to the clan menu, press the Set Crest command there, or use the Alt + N key combination.

Next, in the opened dialog box with a line, enter the path to the downloaded image file, for example: C: /emlema.bmp. You can also save the image file directly in the system folder in the Lineage II directory, then you do not need to specify the full path, but you just need to enter the name of the file with the image.

Use the following guidelines if your client version is c5 or Interlude. Start the game client, then go to the clan menu, click on the Clan Info option, then select Crest or Set Crest, enter the path to the logo file in the window that appears, for example, C: /emb.bmp.
Step 6
Please note that to install the coat of arms of a clan, you must be its leader, or receive such a right from the leader. Start the game, make sure that the emblem icon appears above the heads of your clan members.
Step 7
If you have problems installing the emblem, try to go to the folder with the installed Lineage II game, delete the Crest folder, create it again, then copy the file with the emblem to the system drive C: / and reinstall the clan emblem.
