A time comes in the life of a personal computer user when he gets acquainted with such an additional device as a scanner or copier. He has to copy or scan any images or texts for his own purposes. The photographs are then corrected and the texts are recognized. Sometimes it happens that the document you printed contains several errors. But, as luck would have it, the original of this document does not appear on your computer. The scanner and the corresponding program will help you with this.

Instructions

Step 1

With this program, you can do whatever you want with a scanned document or image. But the program requires activation on the developer's website, which will require you to pay money for the program's operation. After installing and activating the program, in the main window, click on the Scan & Read button.

Step 2

In the window that opens, you will be asked to select the source of your document, select the "From Scanner" item - click the "Next" button.

Step 3

Scanning is performed in 2 steps:

- preview - click the appropriate button and set the necessary color settings, if necessary;

- scanning - this procedure is much slower than preview.

Step 4

After that, proceed to the next step - text recognition. In a new window, you must indicate in what language your document was printed - click the "Next" button. OCR starts.

Step 5

After completing this procedure, pay attention to the recognition quality. Those elements of the recognized document that are highlighted in color must be edited. This is due to the poor print quality of the document. After correcting all errors, copy the text into a Word document and save.
