Instructions
Step 1
The Nero program today is one of the most common video editors, which includes a number of additional functions for burning, copying, burning discs. And also to create your own films, stickers on discs and many other options necessary for working with discs.
Step 2
The program interface is very convenient and will not cause difficulties even for an inexperienced user. In Nero, each item is presented in an accessible and understandable way. To learn more about a particular tool or option, just move the cursor to the corresponding inscription and read the purpose of the marked button in the window that opens next to it. In addition, the program offers its own tips during operation, which greatly facilitates the work.
Step 3
Open the program and on the home screen in the category section select "Add-ons". Click on the label and select one of the items in the list of possible operations. Depending on the type of disc you are using, you will need the "Erase CD" or "Erase DVD" option.
Step 4
Select the desired function and in the new window that opens, select one of the options for cleaning the disk. Here it is possible to select fast erase, in which only visible information is deleted. At the same time, all additional data stored on removable media and invisible to the eye remains on the disk. The disc will appear empty.
Step 5
The second method suggested by the program - the full cleaning mode - erases all information from the disk. After you select the method you need, click the "Clear" button and wait for the process to complete.
Step 6
When working with Nero, keep in mind that the program does not erase all discs, but only rewritable ones. You can recognize them by special markings - the RW inscription after the disc name: CD-RW or DVD-RW.
