You can change the scale of the text using the "Scale" command, which is located at the bottom of the "View" menu. This command does not affect the size of the text itself (the "Scale" command does this), but it does affect the change in the display of the document. The command in question literally determines the number of letters displayed on the screen. The smaller the scale, the more characters you will see on the screen, the larger the scale, the less characters are reflected.

Instructions

Step 1

Go to the menu by the chain View -> Scale. The corresponding dialog box will appear. Use the switches in the "Scale" area to set the desired scale for displaying the available text on the monitor display. Let's say if you set the scale to 200%, the text will be quite large. This is a great display option for nearsighted people.

Step 2

If you click on the "Fit to Page Width" button, the scale will become such that you can observe the entire document from one field to another. The "Multiple Pages" button will allow you to view the document in a different way. The display will show several pages at once. But editing this text is very difficult, since the scale becomes tiny. But with the help of the "Custom" field, you select the scale with an accuracy of a percentage. You can see the document on a new scale by clicking on the "Ok" button.

Step 3

You can display text in the values "Full page" or "Multiple pages" only in the "Page Layout" mode. Go to the menu by the chain View -> Page Layout, call the "Scale" command, after which you can do whatever you like with the scale.

Step 4

Choosing too small a scale, you get the so-called "Greek" text, consisting of unreadable blocks. You won't be able to edit this way, but you will have a general idea of the page layout even before the document is printed.

Step 5

The "Scale" list is located in the standard toolbar on the right. By clicking on the desired option in it, you instantly change the scale of the document.

Step 6

If you have a wheeled mouse, you can zoom in and out by scrolling the wheel up and down while holding down the Ctrl key. By scrolling the wheel forward, you will zoom in, backward - zoom out.
