Document caching is not always useful for fast browser performance. To disable it, you need to know some of the features that are inherent in every Internet browser. How do you disable caching in the most popular internet browsers?
Instructions
Step 1
Follow the steps below if you are using the Mozilla Firefox browser. Enter opera: config into the address bar of your browser. A window will pop up warning you to be extremely careful. Click the OK button. In the Filter field, type browser.cache. after that, the list of settings should contain no more than ten lines.
Step 2
To disable caching look for browser.cache.disk.enable and browser.cache.memory.enable. Pay attention to the value field. Both of these lines have it true. Change it to false. After that, restart your browser for all changes to take effect.
Step 3
Follow the steps below if you are using the Internet Explorer browser. In the menu, open the "Service" section, then click on the "Internet Options" item. The browser properties window will appear in front of you. On the General tab, click the Options button.

Then, in the Check for Updates to Saved Pages selector, select Never. To disable caching, put a zero next to "Used disk space". After that, click the OK button for the accepted changes to take effect.

Follow the steps below if you are using the Opera browser. Press Ctrl + F12, then choose General Settings. Click on the "Advanced" tab, then "History". Set the In-Memory Cache and Disk Cache tabs to Disabled to disable caching. In the items "Check documents" and "Check images" select "Never". Then click the OK button for the changes to take effect.
Step 6
Do the following if you are using the Google Chrome browser. Right-click on the browser launch shortcut. A context menu will appear. Select Properties. Then, in the window that appears, go to the "Shortcut" tab. Find the window where the file address is indicated. Add “-disk-cache-size = 0-media-cache-size = 0” to it. Place this command behind the quotes of the file address. Apply changes.
