Instructions

Step 1

Install Adobe Photoshop and launch it. Open the photo you want to decorate. Create a second layer of the image. It should be a double of the first. Right-click on the first (bottom) layer and choose Duplicate Layer from the menu.

Step 2

When the layers are ready, imagine what your favorite shiny pictures will look like to use as a reference. The shiny layer should play, shimmer and sparkle. To do this, you need to create irregularities or "noise", in the language of a designer working in Photoshop. "Noise" is created in the same way. While in one of the layers, go to the top panel and find the name "Noise" or Noise in the filters. Select Add Noise. The "Noise" parameters should only be chosen by trial and error, observing how the image changes.

Step 3

Do these manipulations with all layers. The difference is that in each subsequent layer, the "Noise" parameters should be less intense.

Step 4

Create 2 empty new layers. To do this, click on the bottom panel in the layers window the image of a blank sheet or the F7 hotkey with English enabled in the language panel. Find a pencil in the toolbox and set the lead size to 2-3 pixels. In one of the empty layers, draw white dots - future sparkles. In the second empty layer draw smaller dots.

Step 5

Now create highlights. In the toolbox, find a brush in the shape of a cross, an asterisk, or something similar. With this brush, paint highlights next to the dots in empty layers. Blur the highlights with Gaussian Blur in the Filtres section of the top panel in the main window. Now the picture has taken on a festive, radiant look.

Step 6

Flatten the layers and save the image with a new name.
