Step 1
One of the most complex devices in a personal computer is the motherboard (system) board. This equipment contains a large number of elements that must work synchronously, ensuring the communication of other devices. Update your motherboard drivers immediately after installing a new copy of Windows.
Step 2
Install the Speccy program and write down the motherboard model. If you do not want to use third-party software, open the case of the system unit. Find the board model name printed on the device itself.
Step 3
Launch an internet browser and go to the motherboard developers site. Select the "Downloads" or "Drivers" category. To speed up the process, just enter the name of the board in the search bar on the site and press Enter.
Step 4
Download software for your computer motherboard. Most likely, the downloaded files will be presented as a self-extracting archive in exe format. Run this archive and install the required drivers.
Step 5
In the event that you did not find a suitable application, download and install the Driver Pack Solution program. Open the folder where you installed the application. Find and run the DPS-drv.exe file.
Step 6
After loading the main menu of the program, open the "Drivers" tab. Expand the Updates category. Select the checkboxes for the devices for which new drivers will be installed. If you are unsure of your choice, just click the Update All button.
Step 7
Wait for the system restore checkpoint to be backed up. After that, the procedure for installing drivers and applications will automatically start.
Step 8
Restart your computer when all required drivers have been successfully installed. Open the Device Manager menu. Make sure all equipment is working properly.
