Instructions

Step 1

Unplug the monitor from the power source and disconnect the power cord and video adapter cable from it. Remove the monitor from the stand if possible, as it is much easier to disassemble the monitor. Usually the delivery is difficult to remove, except for this part, do not use force anywhere else - the rest should be removed easily, except when they are not glued or bolted.

Step 2

Please note that those models of monitors, for the assembly of which glue was used, it is best not to disassemble at home, but to contact a special service center, since you can damage the device case.

Step 3

Turn the monitor upside down. Unscrew all fasteners accessible to your eyesight from the monitor case, note that in some models the bolts may be hidden behind special plugs so as not to spoil the appearance. After all bolts have been removed, slightly pry up and remove the monitor cover.

Step 4

If you need to remove the laptop monitor cover, unplug it from the power source, close it and turn it over. Unscrew the bolts of the rear panels, remove the hard drive, this is necessary if you do not have a panel of additional buttons above the keyboard. Disconnect the ribbon cable connecting it to the motherboard, gently holding it by the base. Locate the monitor connection wires and disconnect them.

Step 5

If there is a special panel of additional buttons above the keyboard, gently pry and disconnect it to access the monitor connection wires. Remove the caps from the monitor bolts, detach the screen from the laptop case, and unscrew the bolts from the front panel. Gently pry up the monitor cover and remove it. If you are going to remove the die, it is best to do so on a large, cloth-covered surface to avoid losing small details.
