It happens that you digitize your favorite music from an audio disc to listen to it in your player, or you download it from the Internet, and instead of the album cover, an empty picture is displayed - a nondescript gray disc or something like that. It's not impressive somehow, you must agree. See how you can fix this situation in regular Winamp and Windows Media Pleer players, as well as using the special Mp3tag program.
It is necessary
- - A computer;
- - internet connection.
Instructions
Step 1
Scan the cover of the disc or download an image from the Internet. In general, absolutely any picture can be inserted as an album cover. Even a photo of your kitten. Only first it is better to edit it - to make it square. Otherwise, it will be displayed incorrectly later. Use JPEG,.
Step 2
Copy the album cover image to the clipboard - that is, right-click on it and select "Copy" from the menu that opens.
Step 3
Open the album in Windows Media Player (it comes standard with Windows). Go to your media library. Right-click on an empty album logo and select Insert Album Cover from the context menu. The selected image will now be displayed as cover art when playing all tracks from this album in any players.
Step 4
Open the album in Winamp player. The latest version of this player can be downloaded for free from the official website of the program. Highlight an album track and right-click. In the menu that opens, select "File Information". Or press the key combination Alt + 3.
Step 5
Select the "Image" tab in the window that opens. Click the Browse button and select the desired image on your computer. Click the OK button. The cover is ready. Please note that the picture will not be saved in the tags of the file, but in the folder with the music. When played in other players, cover art loaded in this way will not be displayed.
Step 6
Install the Mp3tag tag editor program - it can be found on the Internet (for example, the Russian version 2.49 was used). Run the program and click on the "Change folder" button in the menu. Select the folder where the music is located.
Step 7
Highlight the desired tracks in the list on the right. In the left margin of the editor, scroll down to the image editing window. Use the slider if necessary. Right-click and select Add Cover from the pop-up menu.
Step 8
Find the graphic file you want on your computer. Set the properties of the cover by right clicking on the downloaded image. Select "Change cover type" in the menu that opens, and in it the desired parameter.
Step 9
Save the cover by clicking on the corresponding button in the program menu. A window should appear on the screen with a message about the changes to the tags. The cover is ready. It will be displayed in all players.
