In the process of surfing the Internet, we periodically encounter the inability to properly view the pages. What is the reason for this?
When searching for information on the Internet, you can encounter various errors related to both the operation of the sites and the user's problems on the computer. How to understand whether it is possible to solve the arising problems on your own or if you have to wait for the site owner to make his "product" work normally? Obviously, you just need to familiarize yourself with the codes of the most common errors that may arise.
I must say that the list of codes is quite large, but for the user most often the most informative errors are of the 4xx class. For example:
- error 400 - invalid request, - error 401 - in order to work with this resource, you need authentication, - error 403 - access to this resource is denied, limited, - error 404 - the site (or site page) was not found, it is also possible that the user, when typing the site address, made a syntax error or missed letters, signs,
- error 408 - timed out, - error 410 - the resource has been deleted (it is possible that there was a site at this address earlier, but at the moment it is no longer there, it was deleted and the server does not know the position of its copy), - errors 413 and 414 are related to too long request or URL.
Also, users may encounter errors:
- error 500 - an internal server error, usually associated with errors made by developers and (or) the owner of the resource, - error 502 - wrong gateway (usually associated with incorrect network operation), - error 503 - a common error that indicates that the service is currently unavailable, and may also be associated with erroneous actions by the developer and (or) the owner of the resource.
Thus, as can be seen from the description of the errors, the user's ability to influence access to the Internet resource is extremely limited. It is enough to be careful when entering the site address … and that's it.
