In the Microsoft Windows operating system, the user can customize the display of various components to their liking. Even small items such as window control buttons or the scroll bar can have a non-standard appearance. Not only the window color scheme is available for editing. If necessary, the user can also change the font in the title bar.
Instructions
Step 1
To change the size and style of the font in the window titles, open the "Display Properties" dialog box. This can be done in several ways. The first method is the fastest: right-click anywhere on the Desktop that is free of files and folders. In the drop-down menu, select the last item "Properties" by clicking on it with the left mouse button - the required window will open.
Step 2
If for some reason the first method did not suit you, use another: click the "Start" button or the Windows key on your keyboard and open the "Control Panel". In the category "Design and Themes" select the "Screen" icon by clicking on it with the left mouse button, or select any of the tasks in the list located at the top of the window.

Opening the "Properties: Display" dialog box, go to the "Appearance" tab. Here you will be able to choose the font size for all elements. Use the drop-down list in the "Font size" field to set the value you need. To edit the sizes and styles of fonts for the titles of active and inactive windows, click the "Advanced" button - another dialog box will open.
Step 4
In the "Element" field, use the drop-down list to select the "Title of the active window" item. Several parameters will become available for editing. In the "Font" field, select the appropriate font style using the drop-down list. All changes will be visually displayed in a thumbnail at the top of the window. In the "Size" field, use the arrow buttons to adjust the font height, customize the color of the window titles.
Step 5
Select Inactive Window Title in the Element field and make the same changes. Click on the OK button in the "Additional design" window, thereby confirming the new parameters. In the "Properties: Display" window, click on the "Apply" button for the new settings to take effect. Close the window by clicking the OK button or the X icon in the upper right corner of the window.
