When you send a valuable item in a parcel, you are probably worried about its safety. Previously, it was not possible to track the location of a parcel for a number of different reasons. Now the situation has changed dramatically.
Instructions
Step 1
Write down the code that is assigned to your parcel in order to be able to track the path. It may otherwise be called an identification number or track code. This is one of the mandatory attributes that is assigned to a parcel during the checkout of a shipment so that you can track the path at a specific point in time. If you ordered a product in an online store and it is shipping it, then all information about the product, including the track code, should be contained in your "personal account".
Step 2
Go to the sender's website to set the path of the package. Some courier delivery companies offer the ability to stay up-to-date at all times, i.e. know where the sent parcel is at a particular time. This information is either automatically sent to your "personal account", or you can request it yourself in the technical support service of the site.
Step 3
Use a special resource that provides information about parcels sent by postal services. There are highly specialized resources that reflect the actions of any one postal service. Information is provided on them faster than on wide-format sources.
Step 4
To find out where the package is located, use the received track code. Enter it in the appropriate window on the resource you are using. After some time, you will receive the requested information.
Step 5
If you do not have constant access to the Internet, in order to track the status of the parcel, register on one of the sites that track the progress of postal transactions, indicate in the form the track code of the parcel and your mobile phone number. Now, as soon as the status of the parcel changes, an SMS message containing the necessary information will be automatically sent to your mobile phone. Please note that this service is chargeable.
