A music editor can help us in many situations. We often download music without listening to it before downloading it. And only when listening, we belatedly notice extraneous noises or a piece of another track that is not at all related to the song we are interested in. Or, for example, we want to cut a song in order to put it on a ringtone. In all these cases, the help of a music editor will come in handy.

Step 1
To edit music, first download the music editor. For a one-time trimming of a track, you can use the trial version of the editor, which is issued for thirty days. Find and download the installation file, then run it and wait for the installation to complete.
Step 2
Use the music editor to open the track you are interested in. Do this through the "File" menu, or simply by dragging and dropping the file to an empty field in the music editor. Wait for the track to finish loading.
Step 3
Set the slider to the trim point. To do this, start the track in the editor, and then write down the time from which the fragment you are interested in begins.
Step 4
Click on the stop button. Then drag the slider from the time point you marked to the beginning of the song if you want to cut off the beginning, or to the end if you want to cut out the end of the song. Press the "delete" key and wait for the processing to finish.
Step 5
Save the track using the "File" menu, and then "Save As". Save the file in mp3 format using 192kbps quality - optimal quality for listening at home.
