Step 1
Get a bootable disk or floppy disk that contains the Norton Commander program. It is necessary to boot the computer from this media, and for this you need to set the correct priority of boot devices. Press the button several times, as keyboard input is not polled immediately after turning on the computer.

Find the Boot device priority section to set the boot priority. Install the CD-ROM under First boot device to boot from the disc first. After loading the disc (or floppy disk), boot Norton by selecting the appropriate item in the disc menu.
