Instructions

Step 1

Download and install the latest version of Nero Burning Rom. Restart your computer and run the utility. Insert a blank DVD into the drive. If you need to burn a bootable disc that will start before entering the operating system, then select the DVD-Rom (Boot) menu.

Step 2

Click the Boot tab and select the Image File item. Click the Browse button and select the ISO file you want to burn to disc. Click the New button. If you need to supplement the contents of the disc with other files, then follow this procedure by moving them from the right window to the left one. Click the "Record" button.

Step 3

Select the writing speed of this disc. Better to use 8x or 12x speeds. Faster recording may result in the disc not working correctly with certain DVD drives. Activate the “Finalize Disc” function by checking the box next to it. Go to the ISO menu. Set ISO 9660 + Joliet for File System. Activate all options in the "Light restrictions" menu. Click the Burn button and wait for the disc to burn.

Step 4

If you just need to burn the contents of the image to a DVD, then after starting the program, select DVD-ROM (ISO). Click the Multisession tab and select the Start Multisession Disc option. This will allow you to add files to this medium later.

Step 5

Click the New button. Find the ISO file required for burning in the right window and drag it to the left window of the program. Click the "Record" button. Select the writing speed of this disc. Open the ISO tab and set the options similar to those shown in the third step. Click the Burn button and wait for the disc burning process to complete. In both cases, check the recorded data. To check the boot disk, you need to restart your computer.
