Step 1
There are several ways to determine the video card model. The simplest is using standard operating system tools. Click Start. Select "All Programs", then - "Standard Programs". Find and run the command line in standard programs. Enter dxdiag in it. After a few seconds, the direct x tool window will open. In this window, go to the "Display" tab and find the "Device" section. This section will contain information about your nVidia video card model.

Also, to determine the model of the video card, you can use special utilities that additionally allow you to find out more detailed information about the capabilities of the card. Download the free nVidia Inspector utility from the Internet. Install it on your computer hard drive. Run the program. Immediately after launch, a window will appear in which there will be detailed information about the nVidia video card. Model name information is located opposite the Name line.
Step 3
The most detailed information can be obtained using the AIDA64 Extreme Edition program. The application is distributed on commercial terms, but there is a trial period of use. Download the program from the Internet and install it on your computer hard drive. Start it up. After scanning your system, you will be taken to the main AIDA64 menu.
Step 4
In the right window of the program, select the "Display" option, and then - "GPU". Detailed information about the video card will appear, which will be divided into several sections. The board model will be written opposite the line "Video adapter". At the bottom of the window there are links to updating the BIOS of the video card, drivers, as well as to the nVidia website page with a description of your graphics adapter model.
