Most of the users have come across a situation more than once when a cool DVD movie falls into their hands, but there are no Russian subtitles for it. This problem can be easily solved by installing subtitles in the movie yourself.

Computer, programs Txt2Sup, VobEdit and IfoEdit
Instructions
Step 1
To work, you need 3 programs: Txt2Sup, VobEdit and IfoEdit. These programs are easy to find on the Internet, and they are all free. Install the downloaded programs to your hard drive.
Step 2
First, you need to split the movie into its components: video, audio tracks and subtitles.
Start the VobEdit program. In the window that opens, click the Open button, in the dialog box, specify the path to the first movie file. After that, the entire movie will be downloaded automatically. Then click on the Demux button in the main menu of the program. A window will open, in it tick the Demux all Audio streams item, below also select Demux all Subp Streams and Demux all Video streams. Click the Ok button, this will open a new one with split files. Save all files in a separate folder. Close the program.
Step 3
Run the IfoEdit program. In the program menu, click the Open button, in the dialog box that appears, select the ifo file belonging to the movie. This will open information about the movie. Open the VTS_PGCITI item, it is at the top. Next, open the Tools menu, in it select the Save Celltimes to file function and specify the save path. You need to save the document in the same folder where you saved the split movie files.
Step 4
Go directly to working with subtitles. Download from the Internet a file with Russian subtitles for your film. The subtitle format does not matter. Launch the Txt2Sup program, click on the Load Ifo button and select the same ifo file that you selected after launching IfoEdit. Click on the Load Srt button, and in the menu that opens, select the downloaded subtitle file. In this window you can adjust the position of the subtitles on the screen, change the font size and the font itself. After making the changes, click on the Generate Sup button. Close the program.
Step 5
Run the IfoEdit program again, open the DVD Author item and select the Author new DVD function. This will open the disc creation menu. In the Video input field, specify the path to the extracted movie file, and in the Audio field, add audio tracks. When adding tracks, be careful to keep the order in the correct order. Next, add the subtitles that were generated with Txt2Sup. Specify the folder to save the created disk, you can do this in the Output Stream window, and click the Ok button. The movie creation process will take a few minutes, after which you can enjoy watching with subtitles.
