The sound is turned on in the game Counter Strike using the standard method of entering console commands. But playing music through a microphone will require the installation of additional software.
Instructions
Step 1
Use the standard console command method to adjust your Counter Strike sound settings:
- hisound - to enable high quality sound;
- playvol - to set the demo playback volume;
- s-2dvolume - to set the maximum 2D sound level;
- s-a3d - enable (1) and disable (0) A3D technology:
- nosound - mute the sound.
Step 2
Expand the cstrike folder located in SteamApps / username / counter-strike / cstrike to set up music via microphone and find a file named autoexec.cfg. Open the found file in Notepad and type in the first line
alias hiss-START "voice_inputfromfile 1; voice_loopback 1; + voicerecord; alias ToggleWAV hiss-STOP".
Step 3
Go to the next line and enter alias hiss-STOP "voice_inputfromfile 0; voce_loopback 0; -voicerecord; alias ToggleWAV hiss-START".
The third line should look like alias ToggleWAV "hiss-START", and the document ends with voice_fadeouttime 0. Save your changes.
Step 4
Download and install the Half-Life Sound Selector (HLSS) application on your computer. Run the program and open the "File" menu of the upper service panel of the application window. Specify the Options command and click the Browse button in the dialog box that opens. Select the cstrike folder and confirm your choice by clicking OK.
Step 5
Start the game and type in the console bind del "ToggleWAV" to use this key when stopping the music. Exit the program. Make sure to save the desired audio files in WAV format or convert them. Use hot keys to associate each selected melody. The meaning of this action is the ability to change the music being played during the game with one keystroke.
Step 6
Launch the installed HLSS application and enter the game. Select the desired melody by pressing the assigned key and play it by pressing the Del key.
