The main problem with some laptop models is the poor quality of the cooling system. This is usually due to fans running at 30-50% of their maximum power.
Instructions
Step 1
More often than not, laptop coolers don't work at full capacity. This is because the system conserves battery power by spending it on more important devices. If you think that the temperature of certain equipment is higher than the norm, then increase the speed of rotation of the blades yourself. Install the SpeedFan software. Run this app.
Step 2
First, study the temperature readings. Find a device that is hotter than normal. Press the “Up” arrow located opposite the name of the cooler installed on this equipment several times. Wait until a stable temperature is set for the given rotational speed of the cooler blades. Minimize the program window, but do not close it.
Step 3
If using this utility you were unable to change the parameters of the fans, then use the AMD OverDrive program. It is better to use it when working with a laptop with an AMD processor. After loading the main menu of the program, go to the Fan Control item located in the Performance Control submenu. Move the sliders below the graphics of all coolers to 100%. Click the Apply button to apply the specified parameters.
Step 4
Click the Preferences button and select Settings. In the menu that opens, activate the Apply my last settings item by checking the box next to it. This is necessary for the program to automatically load the specified settings after turning on the laptop. Click OK and close the OverDrive program.
Step 5
If you are using a laptop with an Intel processor, then use the Riva Tuner program to adjust the rotational speed of the fan blades. Perform similar operations, increasing the fan speed to the required values. Remember that these devices consume a lot of energy during intensive work.
