Each personal computer has its own virtual workstation for the user. It is called “Desktop”. It contains the main program folders and quick navigation items for system services. You can tidy up on a computer desktop, just like on a desk in an office - swap documents, set the time, set a calendar, put trash in the trash can, and, of course, decorate your workplace with photo wallpaper. In order for a beautiful landscape of wallpaper to be of the maximum size, you need to go to a special section on how to make a wallpaper for the whole screen.
Instructions
Step 1
Right click on your computer desktop. A small window will appear, which is a list of commands. Select the lowest service "Properties". There you can customize the desktop design, as well as other design parameters of the operating system interface, such as a screen saver, various themes for the appearance of buttons, service windows, the Start menu and other configurations. In the new window that appears, go to the "Desktop" tab. At the top of this section, for convenience and clarity, a virtual monitor will be depicted, which displays the wallpaper you have selected for the desktop.
Step 2
The bottom field of the "Desktop" section is intended for self-selection of the desktop background - monotonous, in the form of patterned wallpaper or an inserted image. Find the "Wallpaper" scrolling box. It contains ready-made wallpaper for your desktop. Basically, this is a standard base of wallpapers such as "Coffee House", "Azure", "Mir", "Desert" and others. These basic wallpapers are originally included with Windows and are available for all Windows users. In addition to the standard images, you are free to add your own. To do this, click the Browse button to the right of the Wallpaper window. Select the appropriate picture or photo from the desired user folder. Click "Ok" to add the images to the base of the "Wallpaper" window. After that, finally decide whether to leave the current desktop picture or change it to a new one.
Step 3
To change the background to another, find it in the list of wallpapers using the moving scroll bar. Select the object you like. Then click the Apply and Ok buttons. Often these actions are enough for the desktop to change its background. But since it is not always possible to make the background image automatically fill the entire screen, you will need to adjust its size yourself. Go to the small "Location" service window. It's on the right, under the Browse button. The "Layout" function is able to adjust the size of the background images to the size of the desktop. They can be tiled, centered, or stretched across the entire width of the screen. Set the arrow to "Stretch". Click "Apply" and "Ok" again for the changes to take effect. Go back to your desktop. Now the background image you have chosen will completely match the entire width and length of the desktop and, accordingly, with the dimensions of your manitor screen.
