There are situations when charging a gadget - phone, tablet or player - is impossible for some reason. For this, a mechanical charger - "frog" was invented, which will help out in such cases.
Why do you need a "frog"?
A mechanical charger of the "frog" (or "frog") type is designed to charge rechargeable batteries of a wide variety of gadgets. Such batteries are used in phones, PDAs, cameras, iPods, GPS-navigators, etc. Also with the help of the "toad" you can "feed" the tablets.
Why is she needed, such a "frog"? For example, a mobile phone charger was broken or lost. I have to buy a new one, but then it turned out that the phone model is already old - and you simply cannot find a charger for it. This means that it will no longer be possible to charge it. Do not throw away the phone?
That's what the "frog" is for. Just take out the battery from the phone and insert it into this "frog", observing all the pros and cons. If the red light is on, it means the battery was inserted incorrectly, if the green light is blinking, everything is normal and the battery is charging, and if the green light is on, the battery is charged. It is very simple and convenient.
The "frog" is considered a universal device: it can also be used for batteries from other gadgets - tablets or players. There are “toads” that are connected via a USB connector, from a car network or from a regular room outlet. All of them are small in size, and you can take them with you, depending on which model is more convenient.
Pros and cons of "toad"
The mechanical charging "toad" is a rather strange device. On the one hand, it is positioned as a charger for batteries, and on the other hand, it cannot charge the battery normally - it either spoils it by overcharging or does not fully charge it. "Toad" gives a stable charge current, which is undoubtedly a plus, while it has a high voltage at the end of the charge - and this is already a big minus.
"Toad" saves in case the charger was lost or damaged, as well as if the charging connector in the phone is broken. "Frog" is very compact and lightweight, suitable for batteries of any size, easy to connect. It can also be used to charge a battery that is “out of order” and cannot be charged by conventional charging.
But the "frog" also has a very big disadvantage. The fact is that the charging controller is set to average parameters, and this "spoils" the rechargeable batteries. That is, it charges, but at the same time shortens the life of the batteries.
Such a device is inexpensive, but here everyone decides for himself - to use this thing or not.
