The operation of canceling the shutdown of the computer can be performed using standard tools of the Microsoft Windows operating system and does not require the use of additional third-party software.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "All Programs" item to perform the operation to cancel the shutdown of the computer.
Step 2
Select "Standard" and then select "Command Prompt".
Step 3
Enter shutdown /? and press the softkey labeled Enter to confirm the command.
Step 4
Familiarize yourself with the parameters of the shutdown utility, the main of which are: - s - shutdown the computer;
- t - time after which the computer will be turned off in seconds;
- a - cancel shutdown.
Step 5
Use the shutdown -a command to cancel the shutdown of the computer, or use the shutdown -s -t7200 command to shutdown after two hours.
Step 6
Return to the main Start menu to perform an alternate shutdown undo and go to Run to use the command line tool.

Enter shutdown -a in the Open field and click OK to confirm the selected command.

Pay attention to the fact that the last commands entered are saved in the computer's memory, i.e. with further use of the selected command, it is enough to enter the first letters of the command, and then simply indicate it in the service menu of the application.

Use the -l command value to end the session of the current user, with the -m parameter in the command prioritizing it and allowing the session to be logged off the remote computer.
Step 10
Use the -f command to force quit running applications, and use the -r parameter to restart the computer.
Step 11
Use the value of the -c parameter to generate the message displayed in the shutdown application window.
