Click Next and by clicking Browse open File Explorer. Specify the application that the scheduler should start at the specified time. Since you want to configure the computer shutdown, you need to find the WINDOWS folder in the Explorer window, and inside this folder go to the System32 subsection. Find the shutdown.exe file in this folder, select it and click "Open".

Step 3

Once you have selected an application to run, give the new script a name (for example, shutdown). In the same window, set the time of day at which the task should be performed, and the regularity - it needs to be performed daily or once. For example, if you want the computer to shut down itself every day, regardless of whether you are near it or not, set the daily script execution to 00:00 hours.

Step 4

If you want the computer to turn off automatically only on weekdays, check the "only on weekdays" option. Click Next, enter your username and password, and complete the job creation by clicking Finish.

Step 5

You will see the scheduler window appear on the screen. In this window, enter the command that will call your script to action: C: / WINDOWSsystem32shutdown.exe –s. This command will save any unsaved data before the computer shuts down.

Step 6

Set the checkbox "Execute only when logged in" in the settings. Now your computer will shut down by itself, even when you do not have the opportunity to do it yourself.
