Step 1
To connect to the "Battlefield 2" server you need:
Download Gamespy from any available online account. Register with your email, game login and password. You will be offered an automatic login, saving all the information so that you do not constantly re-write the data. Agree, this will speed up your connection to a possible game server.
Step 2
Each profile is checked separately, so right after registration and login, go to the "Options" menu - make optimal game options, connection speed (512K or better), controls, graphics, sound (microphone frequencies). Each time you change the graphics settings, the game will be optimized for a specific configuration. If your system is not strong enough, and more often a video card, then you should not often change video settings, as there will be a decrease in performance and an excess of shader cache.
Step 3
Then go to "MULTIPLAERJOIN INTERNET", and enter the data as follows, for example:
IP address: 127.0.0.1
Port: 27015
Password: 34785435 (most often no password is required)
Step 4
It is also possible to view all servers, click "All servers" in the upper left corner. From these, choose a card that suits your style and the type of game you play. Click "Connect". The server you connected to will be automatically saved in "Favorites-History". Then select the server and click "Make Favorite". It will remain in your bookmarks, and you can connect to it without typing "IP / PORT" each time.
Step 5
To connect to the server "in one click" on the shortcut, copy your current shortcut and change it so that the path looks like the following: Code for instant game launch and quick connection to the "BF2" server.
