Many are already using wireless devices to create local home networks. But not everyone knows that you can synchronously connect a DSL modem and a Wi-Fi router to create a combined network.

Instructions
Step 1
If your ISP provides DSL Internet services, you can purchase an appropriate Wi-Fi router, or use this device with a WAN port in conjunction with a DSL modem. Quite often, the modem is already installed, so focus on the second option.
Step 2
If you have a multiport DSL modem, there are likely multiple computers already connected to it. To create a wireless access point while maintaining a wired network, connect a modem to the LAN port of the router.
Step 3
Naturally, connect the other end of the network cable to the WAN (Internet) port of the router. Connect a laptop or desktop computer to its LAN (Ethernet) port. Launch an Internet browser on the selected equipment and write the IP of the Wi-Fi router in the address bar.
Step 4
Configure the device settings. Open the WAN menu. Specify the IP address of the DSL modem as the access server. You do not need to enter the login and password to access the provider's server, they are already defined in the modem.
Step 5
Now create a wireless network. Be sure to select a security type and set a strong password. This will help keep your computers safe. Connect your laptop to the created access point. Connect one or more stationary computers to the LAN connectors of the router.
Step 6
Now open the advanced Wi-Fi settings of the router. Select "Bridge Connection". Specify the wireless network adapter of this router and the network card of one of the computers connected to its LAN port. Please note that most newer router models automatically create a bridge between these devices. You can register additional routes by opening the "Routing table" menu.
Step 7
Save the Wi-Fi settings of the router. Reboot the device by disconnecting it from the AC power for a few seconds. Wait for the equipment to load. Check the functionality of the bridge.
