When installing the latest operating system from Microsoft - Windows 10 - hibernation is disabled by default. This mode allows you to shut down your computer while keeping documents, browser tabs, unfinished texts, etc. open. Let's figure out how to enable this mode.

Instructions
Step 1
We launch the control panel. Go to "Hardware and Sound" -> "Power Supply". (You can make it easier - right-click on the "Start" menu icon and select "Power Management" in the menu that opens).
Click in the left menu "Power button actions".
Step 2
Below, in the "Shutdown Options" section, the "Hibernation" item should be present. If it is not there, as in this screenshot, then close the window and proceed to the next step.
Step 3
Run the console with administrator rights: right-click on the "Start" menu icon and select "Command line (administrator)" in the menu that opens. In the window that opens, enter: "powercfg -h on", enter. If no messages appear, then hibernation has been successfully activated. We close the console.
Step 4
Go to power management again, in the "Shutdown Options" section. The "Hibernation Mode" item should appear, but at the moment it is not active yet.
Step 5
To activate hibernation mode, click on the link "Change settings that are currently unavailable."
Step 6
The buttons at the bottom are now active, including Hibernation. We put a tick in front of hibernation and click the "Save Changes" button.
Step 7
Now hibernation mode in Windows 10 is turned on and activated, it appeared in the computer shutdown options in the "Start" menu.
