Computer manufacturers continue to improve their product. Now webcams on laptops capture crisp images thanks to the increased pixel count, and the built-in flash allows you to take good photos even in low light.

Instructions
Step 1
Turn on the webcam control program. By default, its shortcut is on the desktop, double-click on it with the left mouse button. You can take advantage of the keyboard controls by pressing "Fn" and the camera icon. Your webcam will activate and a green light will turn on next to its lens. On the screen of the program, you will see yourself in real time.
Step 2
Choose the function you want to use. Click on the camera icon to select a photo shoot. Press the "Play" button or the corresponding triangle.
Step 3
Take fun photos by adding frames to the image. Click on the "Frame" icon located on the webcam control panel and select the picture you like by clicking on it with the left mouse button.
Step 4
On the taskbar, you can customize the operation of the camera based on your preferences: portrait or panoramic shooting, activating or deactivating the flash, choosing a light filter, timer and continuous shooting, photo resolution and saving format. If you are taking a memorable photo, set the date and time: they will be captured with each new photo.
Step 5
By clicking on the camcorder icon, you can shoot videos using your laptop. In the settings, you can turn on or off the sound of the recording and subsequent image. The photo taskbar settings apply to your video as well. You can change them by clicking on the same buttons.
Step 6
See what the quality will be when you turn on and off the lights in the room. Place the laptop lid to the optimum angle. Choose which way to turn the laptop, and which part of the room will be displayed in the photo or video. Press the Play button and start shooting.
Step 7
If you want to communicate with friends using a webcam, turn on the appropriate program - Skype, Mailagent, ICQ - and the program, in turn, activates the webcam.
