Step 1
To take a photo of yourself or your interlocutor, install a special device called a webcam on your computer. You can buy it at any digital store. The clarity and brightness of the resulting photo will directly depend on the quality of the webcam used. When installing, use the supplied drivers.
Step 2
Sign in to Skype and make sure the camera is working. To do this, go to "Tools" and select "Settings". Check the box next to Enable Skype Video in the Video Settings submenu. After that, you will see your image in the upper right corner of the monitor.

To take a self-portrait, go to Video Settings, click the Freeze Video button, give your face a cheerful expression, and click Take Snapshot. After that, select the area of the photo you need by stretching the frame along the image. And click "Save Freeze Frame". In the opened image library, make the resulting frame your avatar or click "Cancel".
Step 4
There is an easier way to get your own Skype photo. If you have a button on your webcam to take a photo, just press it when your image appears on the monitor screen. Self-portrait is ready.
Step 5
Edit the quality of your photo using the "Webcam Settings" button. By clicking on it, set the image to the desired brightness and contrast.
Step 6
To capture the interlocutor, right-click on his image during the video call. In the context menu that appears, select the "Freeze frame" line. After that, the photo will be saved on the hard disk of your computer in the folder you specified.
Step 7
Share the resulting picture with the Duzi. Click in the lower left corner on the inscription "Share" and select the person you want.
