Activating any version of a Windows system ensures that you are running a legitimate copy of that system. It also allows you to download important updates and drivers from a Microsoft server. You can activate your version of the system using the Internet or your phone.

Instructions
Step 1
Activate using an internet connection. Click the Windows Activation Notification button in the notification bar to launch the activation wizard. If you do not see this notification, click on the "Start" button, then "All Programs" and "Accessories".
Step 2
Select "System Tools" and click on the "Windows Activation" button to launch the activation wizard. Click "Yes, activate the system via the Internet". Press the Read Windows Activation Privacy Notice button. Study this link and click and click on the "Next" button.
Step 3
Agree with the item "Yes, I want to register and activate the system" if you want to register and activate Windows at the same time. Click on the link "Activate the system only" if you just want to activate the system. Click on the "Read Windows Registration Nondisclosure" link.
Step 4
Follow the "back" link after reading the privacy statement to return to the previous screen if you would like to specify additional conditions for the installation. If everything suits you, then click "Next". Enter your contact information in the registration form. When prompted, enter the activation key for your system and click "Next". The connection will be established and the system will begin to activate. Click "OK" after activation is complete and you will receive the following message: "You have successfully activated your copy of Windows."
Step 5
Also use your phone to do the same. Follow all the same steps as for activation via the Internet, only use the "Activate Windows by phone" menu after you have read the privacy statement. Click "Next" and "Ok". As soon as the process is over, you will immediately see a notification about the end of the activation of your copy of the system.
