Most users use one of the four most popular browsers to browse the Internet: Internet Explorer, Opera, Firefox, or Google Chrome. All the time that users spend on the web, browsers automatically save temporary files of web pages, also called "cache". Each browser has a specific place to store them, as well as methods and ways to remove them.
As a rule, in all browsers, by default, the options are set to save the cache without deleting it. Over time, the cache takes up a large amount of memory. It becomes necessary to clean the cache yourself. There are methods for deleting that are used for automatic cleaning in each browser.
To clear the cache in Internet Explorer, select "Service" in the "Menu" and select "Internet Options" in the tab that appears. You can immediately remove the cache from Browsing History by clicking the Delete button. Next, select the item "Temporary Internet Files" and also delete it. We confirm the selected action and close the window - at the request of the user, Internet Explorer cleared it using built-in tools.
Fans of the Opera browser need to activate the "Tools" tab and select the "Settings" item. In the window that appears, go to the "Advanced" tab and select the "History" section. A button "Clear" will appear opposite the item "Disk cache" - feel free to click. The cache has been cleared.
A similar algorithm for clearing the cache in the Firefox browser. In the same way, through the item in the "Tools" menu, go to "Options". On the "Privacy" tab, we find the "Cache" item and activate the "Clear" button. We confirm the selected action by clicking on the "Finish" button. Starting from version 3.5, to speed up the passage of the menu, press the key combination Ctrl + Shift + Del, and immediately go to the tab to clear the cache.
The Google Chrome browser also knows how to clean the cache correctly and independently. To do this, you can use the Ctrl + Shift + Del key combination similar to Firefox to directly go to the tab for clearing the cache. In the window that appears, the user needs to select the following sections for deletion: clear browsing history, download history, cokie files, filling in data, forms and passwords, and also select a period - from the last day to complete cleaning for the entire time the browser is running. After that, activate the start of cleaning using the "Clear browsing data" button. The browser will clean up the cache.
