It looks like glass that has been cut. This can be done either with a cotton swab and alcohol, or with a special cleaning disc, on the back of which there is a stiff brush. If cleaning the drive does not help, then you can disassemble the laptop. This is done only with such skills and with the expired laptop warranty period. Verifies the tightness of the drive power cable connection, and the integrity and tightness of the cable from the drive to the motherboard. If the problem is in them, then they may have a shriveled appearance, in some places they may be bare. The price of such parts is low, but it is difficult to buy them in the store. Therefore, it is worth contacting service centers for the repair of equipment to replace them.
The warranty period for the laptop is 1 to 2 years. If it has not expired, then it is worth taking it to the warranty service center, where they will carry out all the diagnostics. Disk malfunction

If it was recorded independently, then you will have to rewrite the information on another medium.
It is very rare that a disc is not recognized by a laptop because its format is not supported by the drive. Modern discs can be single-sided, double-sided, CD, DVD or Blue-Ray format. The latter is most often associated with the impossibility of reading it on a laptop, since drives that accept this format are much more expensive than others.
