To view the security log, you need to invoke the Windows Firewall component. To do this, press the Windows key with the flag or the "Start" button on the taskbar and select "Control Panel" from the menu - a new window will open. Select the "Security Center" category in it and click on the "Windows Firewall" icon.

Step 2

In the dialog box that opens, go to the "Advanced" tab, click the "Options" button in the "Security Logging" group. In the new window, set the markers in the "Record missed packets" and / or "Record successful connections" fields. Save the new settings.

Step 3

Subsequently, follow the path described above to view the log. In the "Log Settings" window, click on the "Browse" button and right-click on the pfirewall.log file. In the context menu, select the "Open" command.

Step 4

To view the entries in the event log, use the "Start" button to call the "Control Panel". In the Performance and Maintenance category, select the Administration icon. Left-click on the Event Viewer icon.
