Step 1
Download and install the VirtualDub software. This software can be found at softodrom.ru. Try to install to the system directory of the local drive. This editor supports wav and avi video formats. If your video file is in a different format, try Windows Movie Maker, which has little to no functionality.
Step 2
Launch VirtualDub and open the prepared video snippet. You can select and then glue the pieces of video using the menu items "Edit" - "Set start of selection" and "Set end of selection". Save the selected piece by clicking on the "File" menu item, then "Save as AVI".

Do this with the whole segment to prepare the required number of video segments. Try to choose the size of the future video file for the planned musical accompaniment. Glue the pieces together using the "File" - "Add AVI segment" item. Add musical accompaniment to the finished video sequence. To do this, go to the "Audio" section, select "WAV audio …".
