Sometimes a web surfing program, or, more simply, a browser, throws unexpected surprises. For example, every time you log in to a site, it offers to choose from several logins, while you only need one. In this case, you need to delete the unnecessary login. Let's look at this problem using the example of the four most popular browsers.

Instructions

Step 1

In Internet Explorer, open the site, the login to which you want to delete. If you are logged in, log out of your account. Open the authorization page and double-click in the login input field. A list of logins with which you once entered this site using Internet Explorer will appear. Use the control keys ("Up" and "Down") to select the required login and press Delete on the keyboard. The login and the associated password will be deleted.

Step 2

In Opera, click the Tools> Clear Private Data menu item. In the window that appears, click on the "Detailed settings" arrow. A list will open, but you should not be interested in it, but in the "Password Management" button. A new window will appear in which there is a list of sites where you use your login and password for authorization. To expand the list of available logins, click on the arrow to the left of the site name. To delete a login, select it by clicking on it with the left mouse button and press "Delete".

Step 3

In Mozilla Firefox, click the Tools> Options main menu item. In the window that opens, select the "Protection" tab and click the "Passwords" button, which is located in the "Saved Passwords" field. A list of sites and associated logins will appear. Select the required line and click "Delete".

Step 4

In Google Chrome, click on the button located in the upper right corner of the program and is depicted as a wrench, and in the menu that opens, click the "Options" item. In the new window, click on the "Personal Content" tab, and then on the "Manage Saved Passwords" button located in the "Passwords" section. The field "Saved passwords" will contain a list of sites and associated logins. If you select any of them, a button will appear on the right side of the line with which you can display the password for a specific account. To delete a login, click on the cross on the right side of the line.
