The procedure for clearing links from the address bar of the Explorer can be performed using standard tools of the Windows operating system without the involvement of additional third-party software.

Instructions
Step 1
Close all open Internet Explorer windows to initiate clearing of the Internet browser address bar history.
Step 2
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "Run" item to launch the command line utility.
Step 3
Enter regedit in the Open box and click OK to launch the Registry Editor tool.
Step 4
Expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternetExplorer typed URLs registry key. Remove all urlx values where x is 1, 2, 3, and so on.
Step 5
Right-click on the "Start" button icon to open the context menu and go to the "Tools" item to use an alternative method for deleting Internet Explorer address bar history.

Select "Tab Menu" and press the "Settings" button.
Step 7
Go to the Advanced tab of the dialog box that opens and click the Clear List button in the Documents section. This action will clear the browser's address bar history and the list of recently opened or used documents.

Expand the "Tools" menu in the upper toolbar of the Internet Explorer window and go to the "Properties" item to delete the list of all viewed and visited Internet sites and the history of web pages.

Expand the Internet Options link and go to the General tab of the new dialog box.

Call the context menu of the "Windows Explorer" application by right-clicking on the field of the address bar of the explorer to clear the history of the address bar "Windows Explorer" and select the command "Delete log".

Enter regedit in the Open box and click OK.

Expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerTypedPaths registry key and remove unnecessary paths.

Restart your computer to apply the selected changes.
