Syncing iPhone with iTunes allows you to quickly replenish your phone with new songs. The entire operation is performed through a desktop computer, while it is possible to create the desired playlists in advance.
IPhone Connection
Connect your iPhone to your computer using the USB cable that came with your phone. In most cases, iTunes will open automatically as soon as the computer detects a new device. If this does not happen, start the program manually, for example, through the "Start" menu.
If you have a slow computer, it is recommended that you start iTunes before connecting your iPhone. Slow devices may experience long software loading times.
Synchronization options
In the iTunes window that opens, click the iPhone button in the upper right corner of the application window. In the next window, you need to select the type of content that you want to sync, in this case - music, click the Music tab at the top of the program window. Check the Sync box.
Further, various synchronization options will be available, for example, synchronization of all available songs and playlists, only those that belong to certain genres, ratings, etc. When finished configuring the synchronization parameters, click the Apply button in the lower right corner of the program.
Before starting synchronization, pay attention to the "Capacity" line at the bottom of the program window. This shows the amount of memory used by a particular content type, as well as the amount of available memory space.
Automatic sync
If the Automatically sync when this iphone is connected check box is selected in the program options, your iPhone will sync automatically every time you connect it to your computer. In this case, the songs purchased through the iPhone will appear in the iTunes window, in the Purchased playlist. If you use iCloud, you don't need to sync these songs. If you delete songs from your iTunes library, they will also be automatically deleted from iPhone the next time you connect it to your computer.
Manual sync
If you'd rather manage your iPhone content yourself, go to the Summary tab and check the Manually manage music and videos box. Click the On this Device button and see what songs are currently on the device. Click the Add button on the right side of the window. Manually drag files from iTunes library to iPhone and click the Done button.
