A ScreenShot is a snapshot of an image transmitted to the screen of a computer or laptop. Sometimes this function allows you to take a snapshot not only of the visible area of the screen, but also of an entire web page.

Instructions
Step 1
Most keyboards have a Print Screen (PrtSc) button. Click it at the moment when you need to take a screenshot. After clicking it, the image will be saved to the clipboard. Open Control Panel and expand the All Programs tab. Find the Paint utility and run it.
Step 2
Press the key combination Ctrl and V. After that, the screenshot will be displayed in the Paint window. Open the File menu and select Save As. Select the format of the saved file and enter its name. Specify the folder where you want to save the snapshot.
Step 3
The Print Screen feature may not work correctly when launching certain games and applications. In such situations, it is recommended to use additional programs. Download Fraps utility and install it. Open the program by clicking on the shortcut on the desktop.
Step 4
Select the Screenshots tab and click the Change button. Select the folder where the screenshots will be saved. Now select the Screen Capture Hotkey column and select the desired key. Pressing it will activate the Fraps program.
Step 5
Select the format in which the pictures will be saved. Better to use BMP for high image quality. Now minimize the program window. Press the selected key at the desired moment.
Step 6
If you need to take a screenshot of an invisible part of a program, such as a web page, then use the WebSite Screenshot program. It is installed as a browser plugin. Install this program and open its settings.
Step 7
Set a hotkey that will take a snapshot of the entire web page when pressed. Open the site you want and click this button. Also, using this program, you can get a snapshot of a separate part of the page. You can edit the resulting file in Paint and another graphics editor.
