Step 1
Turn on the computers and laptops that are part of your home LAN. Wait a while until the definition of a new connection is completed. After that, a window will appear prompting you to select the type of detected network. Click on the "Home network" item.

Now click the Win button and enter the word "Home" in the search box. Click on the icon that says "Homegroup". After launching the dialog box, click the New button. Check the boxes next to the required data types. Click "Next".

The system will automatically generate and give you a password for your homegroup. Save it as a separate document. Click the Finish button. Make sure you entered the correct network settings and click the "Save Changes" button.
Step 4
Start adding more devices to your homegroup. Move to another computer or laptop. Click on the "Home network" item as described in the first step.
Step 5
Open the Homegroup menu to connect to it. Click the "Join" button. Select the checkboxes of the data types that will be available to other users.

Click "Next". Fill in the "Password" field by entering the combination suggested by the system when setting up the first computer. Click the Next and Finish buttons.
Step 7
Connect the other computers to the homegroup in the same way. For each specific device, set unique parameters for accessing resources. This approach will prevent the leakage of important information.
Step 8
If you need to share a specific folder, right-click on it and select "Sharing". In the new menu, select the Homegroup (Read / Write) option. Apply the changes so that all users on the home network can access the highlighted information.
