Often users need to take a screenshot on a computer in order to save its image for their own needs, or send it to another person. You can take a screenshot both using the built-in capabilities and using additional programs.
Instructions
Step 1
To make a screen, press the PrtSc SysRq key on the keyboard. You can find it on the right side of the keyboard in the topmost row.
Step 2
When you press PrtSc SysRq, nothing will change externally on the computer monitor, however, a screen photo will be saved to the clipboard for later use, which was captured by the last click of the keyboard.
Step 3
Save the screenshot file in the program you need. The most convenient way to do this is to use Paint, which is included in the set of standard Windows programs. Open a blank document and select the "paste" command or by pressing the key combination Ctrl + C. Modify the screenshot as you need it. You can cut out unnecessary parts, make marks, etc. Save the file with an appropriate name. You can also paste the screen into other editors, for example, in MS Word as a picture, Photoshop.
Step 4
By pressing the PrtScr SysRq key, you will place the contents of the screen in the operating system clipboard, and you will only have to save it as an image file.
Step 5
It is even easier and more convenient to take screenshots using special programs. Download the Gadwin PrintScreen Pro utility, install it on your computer and run it. The next time the computer is turned on, it will start automatically, but it will not interfere with its work in any way, it will be discreetly located in the tray.
Step 6
Press the same PrtSc SysRq key. After pressing it, the program will immediately open the screen image that you got. In Gadwin PrintScreen, you can immediately make all the necessary changes to the screen, and then save the desired file. It is also easy to select and copy the desired part of the screenshot taken on the computer to another editor.
