Instructions
Step 1
Download and install iTunes to organize your library and organize your audio and video files. This program has a simple and accessible interface. When opening iTunes to create a new library, hold down Shift. In the dialog box that has opened, click on the "Create Library" button.

Save the library file: select a location to save it, give it a name. Then the program will be opened with a new library file. Go to the "Settings" menu of the application, select the following menu items: "Edit" - "Settings".
Step 3
Open the "Advanced" tab, uncheck "Copy to iTunes Music folder when added to library", if selected, click OK. This will prevent you from creating copies of existing files in the new folder with your media library.
Step 4
Add media files to your library for transferring to iPod and iTunes. To do this, open the folder with the files and drag the required files into the iTunes window. Or select the File menu and Add Folder to Library / Add to Library. When creating a library in iTunes, use the following categories of media files: music (all audio files except audiobooks and ringtones); video (all video files except TV shows and clips); TV shows (in this category, sorting by release time and seasons is possible); audiobooks; radio (this category allows you to store links to podcasts and Internet radio); ringtones.
Step 5
Customize the display, for this go to the "Apple" menu, select "Settings" - "Display" and mark the categories that you want to display. After filling your iTunes library with the files you want, connect and sync your iPod. Wait for the sync to complete and exit iTunes.
