There are quite a number of audio file formats for different purposes. It may happen that the output format of the recording device does not match the format that your player understands. Having at your disposal an audio editor or converter, you can solve this problem.
It is necessary
- - Adobe Audition program;
- - sound file.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the audio file in Adobe Audition editor. You can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + O, which is suitable for many programs. You can do even more tricky: using the file manager installed on your computer, find the desired audio file and right-click on it. In the context menu that appears, select the "Open with" item. Select Adobe Audition from the list of programs. The traditional way to load files into this editor is the Open command on the File menu.
Step 2
Press the shortcut keys Ctrl + Shift + S or use the Save As command from the File menu. In the window that opens, select a location on the disk where the recording will be saved in the changed format.
Step 3
Select the format to save from the drop-down list at the bottom of the window. If after selecting the format, the Options button is activated, click on it and configure additional parameters for saving the file: codec, bit rate, bit rate type.
Step 4
Save the file by clicking the Save button.

If you can't get your hands on an audio editor that works with different formats, you can use an online converter. To do this, open the page in your browser https://media.io. At the bottom of the page, select the Russian-language interface by clicking on the inscription RU. Click on the Supported File Formats and Sizes link. Make sure the converter supports the format you are interested in
Step 6
Click on the "Browse" button and select the file you are going to convert. Click on the "Open" button in the explorer window. Then click on the "Download" button. Wait for the file to finish downloading.
Step 7
Select the format, quality and click on the "Convert" button. Wait for the end of the conversion. Click on the "Download" button that appears. Don't be surprised if your browser opens a new tab with search results on Amazon for the name of the processed file. Just close this tab. In the window that appears, select the "Save" item, specify the location on the computer hard disk where the file will be saved in the new format, and click the "Save" button. Wait for the download to finish.
