Over time, unnecessary shortcuts, files and programs are typed in the system, some of which do not work, while others are not needed at all. All this slows down the computer and increases the boot time. Periodically, the system must be cleaned of unnecessary elements, after which it will start to work quickly again.
Instructions
Step 1
Delete all unnecessary folders, files and programs that you do not use for a long time. Remove programs only from the "Add or Remove Programs" folder, it is located in the "My Computer" folder. Shortcuts and unnecessary files are removed from their location on your computer.
Step 2
Empty the trash. It collects all deleted shortcuts and files, which also slow down the system.
Step 3
Restart your computer, all updates will take effect only after that.
Step 4
To completely clean the system from unnecessary elements, install the CCleaner program. After installation, click on the shortcut and open it. The program is in English. Click "Analyze" - system analysis, then "Run Cleaner" - clean, in the window that appears, select "Ok" - confirmation of cleaning. Repeat the procedure until all parts of the system are analyzed, which are displayed on the left side of the CCleaner window. The program does not work in automatic mode, therefore, after checking and cleaning one part of the system, it must be started again by pressing the "Analyze" button. The running time of the program will depend on the fullness of your system, it only removes empty shortcuts, damaged files, etc.
Step 5
Reboot the system after analyzing and cleaning it with CCleaner. You will immediately notice an improvement in the performance of your computer, it will work faster.
