Step 1
First you need to go to the BIOS menu. It is often possible to do this with the DEL key, but there may be other options, especially for laptops. On modern motherboards, the initial screen often displays which key you can use to enter the BIOS menu. You can also find out from the instructions for your motherboard. The key to enter the BIOS should be pressed on the initial screen immediately after turning on the computer. If you do not have time, then the computer will have to restart.

Now you need to find the section that is responsible for booting in the BIOS. Usually it is called Boot. There may be other options, but the word Boot must be present. In this section, you can set the boot order of devices. You will see that the Boot menu displays several numbers, each of which corresponds to a specific device. These devices are loaded in order.

To turn on the computer normally, you need to remove the boot from the first point from your optical drive or flash drive. To do this, select 1st Boot Device and press Enter. A list of devices that you can choose to download first will appear. In this list, select your hard disk - Hard Disk. Then press the Enter key. After that, the order of loading devices in the BIOS will be changed.

Now you need to save your changes. To do this, select the Exit section. Several options for exiting the BIOS menu will appear. You should select the Save end exit option. The computer will then restart. Subsequent PC boot will take place with the new parameters. If you need to boot the system from your optical drive, for example, to reinstall the operating system, you can change the boot order in the BIOS at any time.
