If you do not need password protection for entering the operating system, then you can change the corresponding setting and the OS will no longer require you to enter it at every boot. You must have administrator rights to access this installation. If you have them, then use the sequence of actions described below.

Instructions

Step 1

Open the main menu of the system by pressing the WIN key or by clicking the "Start" button with the mouse. Select the Run line to open the Launch Programs dialog box. This can be done using the "hot keys" WIN + R.

Step 2

Type a two-word command in the input field: control userpasswords2. For greater reliability, you can copy it from here (CTRL + C) and paste it into the dialog box (CTRL + V). Then press the Enter key or click the "OK" button and the System User Account Control utility will be launched. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating systems, then this utility can be launched with a shorter command - netplwiz. This command will not work on Windows XP.

Step 3

Select from the list of accounts the user whose account the system should select at each boot without prompting for a password. Please note that in this list, in addition to ordinary users, there are also those whose existence on your system you do not know anything. These hidden accounts are created by some programs, and if they are removed, the programs will stop working properly.

Step 4

Uncheck the "Require username and password" box in the above list of accounts and click the "OK" button.

Step 5

Enter the password that the system should use without your participation every time the OS boots. The field for entering the password will be present in the window with the title "Automatic login" - the utility will open it immediately after you clicked the "OK" button in the previous step. If no password has been set for the account you selected in the third step, then do not enter it here either.

Step 6

Click the "OK" button and in this window. This completes the procedure for changing OS settings. Now, every time you log into the system, the OS will automatically select the user you specified and also automatically enter his password (if specified).
