Step 1
Open "Control Panel" from the "Start" menu. You can also double-click on the My Computer shortcut. Next, on the left side of the window, click on the "Control Panel" tab. Find the section "Accounts" of users and activate this window by clicking on it with the mouse. The Account Setup Utility starts.
Step 2
Review the list of active users and highlight the required account. Find the item "Account Removal". If a password has been set for your account, the operating system will ask you to enter it. Enter the combination correctly so that the system will delete the password after verification. Also, do not forget that a personal computer may contain many accounts that need to be deleted. This operation is applied to each account in turn, that is, you cannot delete everything at once.
Step 3
If the utility does not allow you to delete an account, go to "Account Settings". Type control userpasswords2 in the Run command box and hit enter. The configuration window will open. In the list of users, select the user you want to delete and click the corresponding button below the list. You can simply press the Delete button on your computer keyboard to delete the account.
Step 4
Open the Users folder on the C: drive. Find your data - the operating system does not delete the folder with files, it must be done manually. Don't forget about hidden and system files that may be located in your folder. All these operations will require administrator rights. If you do not have administrator rights to configure such system partitions, ask your computer administrator for help.
