The Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet editor is the most widely used spreadsheet application today. After installing a new version of this program, it is often necessary to change its settings in order to bring them to the usual form. Access to program settings in the latest editions of the editor is organized in different ways.

Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet editor
Instructions
Step 1
Expand the "File" section in the spreadsheet editor menu. If you are using the version of Excel 2010, then for this you need to click on the green button in the upper left corner of the application window. In the 2007 version, instead of it, in approximately the same place, there is a large round button without an inscription, which the manufacturer calls Microsoft Office in all documents. You can open this menu in another way - press the alt="Image" key and the program will display the letters of the Russian alphabet on each menu item. Pressing the key with the corresponding letter will open the menu item associated with it, the letter "F" is assigned to the "File" section.
Step 2
Select Options if you are using Excel 2010 - this is the second row from the bottom on the main menu. In Excel 2007, this item replaces the button with the text "Excel Options" located in the lower right corner of the drop-down menu - click it. Both of these actions open the table processor settings page, divided into sections, a list of which is placed at its left edge.
Step 3
If you are using an even earlier version of Microsoft Excel (for example, Excel 2003), then look for the desired item in the "Tools" section of the application menu. It is called "Parameters" and opens a separate settings window, made up of thirteen tabs.
Step 4
Many settings of the spreadsheet editor can be changed without using the settings page. For example, to change the default page display scale, just roll the mouse wheel while holding down the Ctrl key. The increase (or decrease) set in this way will be automatically saved by the application and used the next time you start Excel.
